We are pleased to announce the first CENTAUR Workshop, which will take place on 21 November between 9:00 and 12:30 (CET) online.
The half-day event will feature keynote sessions focusing on the role that the CENTAUR Horizon Europe project aims to play in strengthening and enriching the Copernicus Emergency Management Service (CEMS) and the Copernicus Security Service (CSS) in Support of the EU External and Security Actions (SESA) product portfolios. In addition, two panel discussions will focus on how innovative technologies are shaping the development of early warning and monitoring systems, as well as disaster response capabilities in relation to urban floods, and food and water security, and what role CENTAUR’s solutions can play in this framework.
The event will also provide an opportunity to discuss the roadmap and foreseen next steps for the CENTAUR project and its contribution to civil security and emergency management.
The workshop is open to the public. Registrations close on 20 November at 13:00 CET.
